Sinclair QL Box-Set - QL Adventures 3

This is one of several Sinclair Adventure QL Box-Sets rreleased during 2014-16, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Sinclair QL Home Computer.

This is the Sinclair QL Adventures Box-Set 3.

The box contains a printed manual plus 2 x 3.5" (DSDD) disks containing the following Sinclair QL Adventures:

• Dennis the Dwarf at the Funfear written by Mert (Martin Hopkins) and published by RWAP Adventures in 2016
• QL Epic Adventure written by Andy Pritchard and published by RWAP Adventures
• Quest for the Dragon Sword written by Ian Foot, Malcolm Johnson and Ian Ward and published by Byteback
• Spy - A QL Adventure written by Andy Pritchard and Rich Mellor (graphics by P Scott) and published by RWAP Adventures (brand new 2016 Adventure)

NOTE: 256K RAM is required as a minimum.

Dennis the Dwarf at the Funfear is one of a series of two comical adventures starring Dennis the Dwarf and as such forms a follow-up to Horroday. 

Here you need to explore a closed amusement park, carrying out tasks for a wide range of characters that you meet on your journey. whilst avoiding the perils of the grisly Freak Show.

Originally reviewed in 1986, the adventure was never released at the time and even the author no longer had a copy.  We have now preserved it and published it in 2016.

QL Epic Adventure is an adventure which uses digitised graphics to good effect.

Here, you take the role of a space explorer who, on returning to his home planet after many years exploring deep in space, wakes from suspended animation to find that the other members of the crew missing, and a warning sound aboard the ship.

You need to quickly explore the ship and, if necessary, beam down to the planet surface and find your colleagues...

Quest for the Dragon Sword is another text adventure, where you play the role of Claire, sent on a quest by your king to find the Dragon Sword.

Landing on the island of Zethus, you soon realise that this is not exactly a tourist destination and the island has fallen prey to the Dragon-Witch, an evil hag with the power to transmute into a dragon at will.

Can you find the broken pieces of the sword, and then seek out the home of the Dragon-Witch to destroy her?

Spy - A QL Adventure is a text and graphics adventure based in the cold war. 

You are dropped off in the middle fo the East German countryside by Agent ZX with orders to infiltrate an enemy spy centre and retrieve intelligence data.

Can you avoid capture long enough to retrieve the much needed information and escape with your spy camera intact?
