Description

This is a brand new set of plastic expansion rivets as used to hold the Jupiter Ace home computer case together.

The Jupiter Ace is fairly rare and a much sought after home computer for collectors. Unfortunately, the cases have become brittle over time, and quite often the parts which hold the two sections of the plastic case together are lost. The Jupiter Ace is held together not with screws, but with these plastic push rivets.

The set consists of:

5 x White plastic rivets

Ideal for cases where the rivets are broken, or missing (as normally happens if you open the case).

We sometimes get asked about how to fit these, as the centre pin does not push down easily into the body of the rivet.

it is easier to snap off the centre pin and then reinsert it once the body is in the hole in the case (or dependent on your dexterity / strength in fingers), insert it slightly before pushing the body through the hole in the case.
