Brand New High Efficiency Power Supply for the Acorn Electron with In-Line Power Switch

A highly reliable PSU to replace the Electron's original 19V external PSU which are expensive and hard to find now.

The Acorn Electron has both an internal and external power supply. The external PSU supplied power at 19V to the internal PSU which then stepped this down to 12V and 5V supplies for the Electron motherboard.

Using this high efficiency 12V 2A 24W power supply is more power efficient, taking away the need for the step down from 19V and reducing the energy wasted as heat .
With 24W of power available, this power supply will meet the demands of any Electron and peripheral combination.

Comes with our handy Acorn Electron in-line power switch which fits in-line between the power socket of the Electron and the power supply.

The rocker switch then provides an easy On/Off function, reducing wear and damage to the computer's power socket through frequent unplugging when re-setting or turning off.
