Description
This is a new-old-stock LSI 53C720 SCSI controller IC. The NCR or LSI 53C720 is a SCSI controller with flexible bus interfaces compatible with 16-bit ISA and 32-bit x86 local busses as well as Motorola 68030/68040 busses and therefore is compatible with a wide range of retro computers. Bus speeds up to 50 MHz are supported and it makes use of DMA to reduce CPU load. It implements wide SCSI-2, for speeds up to 20MB/s. The 53c720 was used on SCSI controller cards for Amiga, Mac and PC computers.
