Sinclair QL ROM replacement - ROM switcher.

Version 2 with external switches.

 

This ROM switcher has 512Kb ROM , that allows to have 8 pages for 8 ROM images.
ROM switcher has 4-position switch, 3 switches ( SW1 - SW3 ) for select the ROM image.
SW4 switch adds ROM area C000 - FFFF ( for example Toolkit 2 ), ON - adds, OFF - w/o using C000-FFFF.

 

8 most popular ROM images is already programmed, such as Minerva ROM, JM, JS, MG ROMs for different languages and Toolkit 2 2.23. You can change ROM images via special DIP32 adapter ( listed separately ) and EEPROM programmer.

 

 Package includes

 

  • QL ROM switcher
  • External switches with cable

 

You need ROMsw to DIP32 adapter for reprogramming the ROMsw.
I listed this adapter separately because of you can use one DIP32 adapter for many ROMsw ( 2nd or old 1st versions ). If you buy several ROMsw you can buy one DIP32 adapter for all ROMsw.

    Answer: You need the spetial adapter ( other listing ). You can select AM29F040B or M29F040 EEPROM. ROM page description you can see - https://www.sellmyretro.com/uploaded/img/30375_OMSW_v2_table_90.pdf You can use EEPROM programmer sortware or HEX editor to remove/change ROM page contents.
